Chart & Chart Data Examples
The images and text below are samples of the charts and chart data which the software can upload to your site. The chart data is a tab delimited file containing all the observations that went into making the associated chart. The program also has the feature to create a delimited file that contains data from each update that can be used in a spreadsheet or other data processing program.
The charts created with METARs Downloader are able to be customized in several ways. The list below shows what items are able to be changed by the user
- Bar or Line: Each data item can be represented as either a bar or line on its chart
- Line Style: You have the choice of four line styles, Solid, Dash, Dot, and Dash-Dot
- Line Symbols: Add line symbols to your line charts. Choose any one of three: circle, square, or triangle. You have the option not to add them to the thumbnails while still having them on the main charts.
- Color: Pick the color for each line or bar on on the chart, the background, and text
- Visibility: Choose whether or not to display any data item on the chart (Temperature chart only)
- Dimensions: You set the width and height of the chart to be uploaded
- Upload Format: Choose .JPG, .GIF, or .PNG as the uploaded image format
- Custom Captions: Use the built in captions for the charts or provide your own.
- Language: When using the built in captions you are able to replace the English words used with your own in any language.
