Hi Rick first of all happy new year to you...

Just updated to 1.3.0.8 and when opening up for the first time half the meta downloader window appears off screen... see attached screen shot.
Once moved to where I want it it's ok, previous version worked fine so not sure whats happened?

Steve

Steve,

Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy...

Don't know what the deal is with the misplaced location on your screen. As far as I know none of the changes in the new release should have had any impact on window location. Might have been a random glitch.
If I get any more reports on this error I'll post an update here.

Hi Rick, just a thought would a monitor change effect the display, I changed from a widescreen 1680 X 1050 (approx) to a 1280 x 1024 just wonder if metadownloader stores the screen size anywhere..?

Steve,

Yes, the software does retain the last screen position. So when you changed the resolution it made the window appear as it did. Solved  Cheesy

Steve

When you move the window it updaates the location. That way it comes back to the previous screen location when you restore from the taskbar, notification area, and upon start up.
Move the window, minimize, then restore. It should go back to the same location as it was when minimized. Same with sending to the notification area and when closing. If it does not do so then there is something wrong. Let me know what happens.

Hi Rick, if I close down and restart the program it always come's back off screen.
If I put the screen where I want it after starting and then bring it back its fine returns to where it last was.

It only seems to return back to off screen once I quit the program and then restart it.

I can not replicate the behavior on any of the three computers I have running here. I'll take a better look at it when I get a chance... Lots going on today, have to travel and it snowed 5 inches here yesterday and where I am headed they got 15, so it should be a fun day on the roads.   Cheesy
